Family Business Succession planning cannot be completed alone – it requires a multi disciplinary team with a multi faceted approach. A Family Business consultant is a “process specialist” who is able to manage the dynamics of a succession team.

When Predictable Futures works alongside a family business the team varies widely. It always includes family business consultant Gordon Wusyk but the rest of the team depends heavily on each business. Predictable Futures guides the client’s current advisory team or can assist in developing an excellent team if one is not already in place. Generally a team includes a lawyer, accountant, life insurance specialist, financial planner and strategic/organizational planning expert. Occasionally a counselor or psychologist is utilized to address deep-seated relationship issues that may already exist in some families.
