See the introductory post to this series on identifying values, featuring content based on Ron Jensen’s MAXIMIZING Principles.

Does your family and business have a mission statement that drives their decisions and choices?  Without such a mission, a family and business may start to unknowingly drift in directions that they actually don’t want to go.  Within a business, a mission can help align strategies and targets.  Within a family, a mission statement can give direction and meaning to the perpetuation of assets.  In both the business and the family, a mission statement provides purpose and an anchor point.  In short, a “mission” provides motivation, meaning, and momentum.

Discover your mission statement and spend your efforts marching towards it.
